Seq³ências de ácidos nucléicos isoladas de Xenorhabdus nematophilus, Xenorhabdus poinarii, e Photorhabdus luminescens, cuja expressão resulta em novas toxinas inseticidas, são reveladas aqui. A invenção também revela composições e formulações contendo as toxinas inseticidas que são capazes de controlar pestes de inseto. A invenção refere-se ulteriormente a métodos de produção de toxinas e a métodos de uso das seq³ências de nucleotídeos, por exemplo, em microorganismo para controlar pestes de inseto ou em plantas trangênicas para conferir resistência a inseto.Invention Patent: <B> "INSECTICID TOXINS FROM XENORHABDUS NEMATOPHILUS AND SEQUENCES OF NUCLEIC ACIDS THAT CODE FOR THE SAME" <D>. The invention also discloses compositions and formulations containing insecticidal toxins that are capable of controlling insect pests. The invention later relates to methods of producing toxins and methods of using nucleotide sequences, for example, in microorganisms to control insect pests or in transgenic plants to confer resistance to insects.
