''CéLULA ELETROLìTICA DE BAIXA DENSIDADE DE CORRENTE E PROCESSO PARA FABRICAçãO DA MESMA'' Descreve-se uma célula eletrolítica (1) e processo para a diminuição do consumo de energia de uma célula eletrolítica (1) tendo uma capacidade de corrente designada fixa em um aspecto compreendendo a restauração de uma célula eletrolítica (1) com cátodos e ânodos adicionais para diminuir a densidade de corrente total da célula. De modo a acomodar os ânodos adicionais, o espaçamento de cátodo para cátodo (CS) pode ser reduzido e o cátodo pode também ser reconfigurado para proporcionar uma estrutura de tubo de cátodo mais estreita (11).
