Abstract

O terminal da loja receberá o feed-back gerado pela rede bancária, e imprimirá no verso do cheque, o diagnóstico de <B>acatamento<D> do cheque, caso contrário, imprimirá o diagnóstico de <B>rejeição<D>, além de ficar impresso no dorso do cheque, um designativo de inutilização do mesmo, evitando que este seja reutilizado na tentativa de pagamento de algum bem de consumo, noutra loja.<B> "SELOCHECK <D> - CHECK SECURITY SEAL", refers to a security system, to be incorporated in the check sheets, with the intention of making it authentic, by placing an adhesive seal, affixed to its posterior surface, which will denote the authenticity of its issue, having been generated by the holder himself. The adhesive seal consists of 3 (three) layers, of which the outer layers are removable and the central layer is provided to be affixed on one side on the back of the check, using a deposited glue that makes the bonding permanent. ; the other side of the central layer, presents on its surface, a deposition of resinous substance, which aims to receive the apposition of the thumb of the check issuer, which transferring to the surface the typewritten characters modulated in temperature variations consistent with the surface of the thumb, makes the impression of a complex character capable of reproducing a replica of the texture of the fingerprint. The differences in contrast caused by the proportional variation of temperature transferred from the thumb over the resin, will have notoriety, considering that its content will be essential during the transmission of the impression for the purpose of checking. One of the preferred types of presentation of these impressions, should be the type invisible to the human eye, however, being intelligible to optical sensing instruments, specifically designed for this purpose. The resinous material of the label must be of flexible consistency, capable of accompanying mechanical maneuvers and that the check sheet will be subject to. The character recognition unit, which will be available in stores, will function similar to a scanner, which will have the character recognition property, to the point that they can implement in digital code, the conversion equivalent to the content forming the fingerprint. Then, the check will be inserted in a character recognizing unit, which will read the entire area occupied by the fingerprint, in order to encode it, and then compare it with the fingerprint available in the computerized autograph card system. , existing in the Data Processing Center of a bank, for the generation of affirmative or negative feed-back. The feed-back process would be generated from the <B> check-sun <D> of the data sent by the store terminal, in comparison with the standard resident in the database of the banking institution issuing the checkbook. The store terminal will receive the feed-back generated by the banking network, and will print on the back of the check, the diagnosis of <B> acceptance <D> of the check, otherwise, it will print the diagnosis of <B> rejection <D>, in addition to of being printed on the back of the check, a designation of its uselessness, preventing it from being reused in an attempt to pay for some consumer goods, in another store.
