Apparatus and methods are provided to achieve a side well hole connection in an underground well. In a described configuration, a deviation device is rotatably connected to a guiding member and transported into a cementing shoe positioned in a well borehole source, the guiding member being engaged with another, complementarily shaped, member advisor. The bypass device is then rotated to face against the side well hole to be drilled and a force is applied to the bypass device, thereby fixing its rotational orientation in relation to the guiding members. Cutting tools are deflected out of the deflection device to cut out through the cementing shoe to form the side well hole.
