Abstract
"CABO ELéTRICO COMPREENDENDO UM CONDUTOR, PELO MENOS UMA CAMADA ISOLANTE, UMA BLINDAGEM DE METAL EXTERNA E UMA CAMADA DE UM MATERIAL DE POLìMERO EXPANDIDO COLOCADA SOB A DITA BLINDAGEM DE METAL" Cabo elétrico, em particular para transmissão por distribuição de potência em média ou alta tensão, tendo uma blindagem de metal e uma camada expandida de bloqueio d' água semicondutiva. Esta camada exerce três funções principais, a primeira é elasticamente e uniformemente absorver forças radiais de expansão e contração das camadas de revestimento do cabo devido a ciclos térmicos do cabo durante uso, assim prevenindo deformações ou rupturas na blindagem de metal, a segunda é garantir continuidade elétrica entre o núcleo de cabo e a blindagem de metal, a terceira é efetivamente evitar penetração e propagação de umidade e/ou água ao longo do núcleo do cabo devido, por exemplo, a possíveis rupturas na blindagem de metal.
