Abstract
Patente de Invenção: <B>"DISPOSITIVO PARA ANáLISE DO GáS DE DESCARGA DE VEìCULOS AUTOMOTORES"<D> Descreve-se um dispositivo para a análise das mais importantes substâncias relevantes para o meio ambiente, como CO, HC e NO, no gás de descarga de veículos automotores, com base no princípio da absorção de gás a infravermelho. Em um trecho de medição óptico (tubo de aço nobre) com auxílio de fonte de infravermelho e detector são registrados sinais de medição e sinal de referência e determinado um valor de medição por formação de quociente. Quando da ultrapassagem de um valor-limite ocorre um alerta. O sistema OBM consiste em componentes modulares, como dispositivo de retirada, tratamento do gás de descarga, dispositivo de análise e unidade de avaliação, que estão integrados na construção do veículo automotor (ver figura 2). As condições oscilantes no veículo automotor são compensadas por uma estrutura robusta e a correção do desvio de temperatura pela formação da primeira derivação e o reajuste da altura de sinal por uma regulagem de reforço eletronicamente ajustável. Outras possibilidades de correção são a calibração da linha zero com ar ambiente por medidas de comutação bem como a provisão de uma faixa de tolerância em torno dos sinais de ruído no detector. O sistema de medição deve ser integrado no futuro em todos os veículos também como complementação ao sistema OBD (On-Board-Diagnose) existente. Para veículos automotores mais antigos podem ser empregados dispositivos de reequipagem.
