Abstract
<B>"CONSTRUçãO DE ELEMENTOS DE SEGURANçA DE DIFRAçãO OPTICAMENTE EFICAZES E DE UM DISPOSITIVO PARA TESTE DE TAIS ELEMENTOS"<D>. Esta invenção está relacionada com a construção de elementos de segurança de difração opticamente eficazes e um dispositivo para teste de tais elementos. Hologramas e outros elementos de segurança de difração opticamente eficazes para a proteção de certificados e outras garantias assim como cédulas bancárias contra falsificação são agora cada vez mais amplamente utilizados. De acordo com a invenção, o elemento de difração opticamente eficaz possui uma camada de metalização descontínua e/ou camadas parcialmente metálicas e/ou zonas de camadas metálicas em diferentes planos que proporcionam a desejada codificação elétrica da informação. O dispositivo compreende um scanner que trabalha com capacitância. O scanner compreende um grande número de eletrodos transmissores arranjados lado a lado e um eletrodo receptor correndo paralelamente a este arranjo lado a lado. O scanner é disposto numa máquina processadora de documentos de tal maneira que os sensores ópticos e mecânicos previstos nas máquinas processadoras de documentos comuns ativam o dispositivo de teste de acordo com a invenção. A energia do respectivo eletrodo transmissor ativado é capacitivamente sobreacoplada se houver condutibilidade elétrica entre este eletrodo transmissor e o eletrodo receptor. Se não houver a característica de condutibilidade elétrica, nenhuma energia será transferida entre o eletrodo transmissor ativado e o eletrodo receptor. A resposta de sinal no eletrodo receptor é convertida numa figura de sinal relevante. A figura de sinal depende da estrutura da camada metalizada do elemento de difração opticamente eficaz. This invention relates to the construction of optically effective diffraction safety elements and a device for testing such elements. Holograms and other optically effective diffraction security elements for the protection of certificates and other guarantees as well as counterfeiting bank notes are now increasingly used. According to the invention, the optically effective diffraction element has a discontinuous metallization layer and / or partially metallic layers and / or zones of metallic layers in different planes that provide the desired electrical information coding. The device comprises a scanner that works with capacitance. The scanner comprises a large number of transmitting electrodes arranged side by side and a receiving electrode running parallel to this arrangement side by side. The scanner is arranged on a document processing machine in such a way that the optical and mechanical sensors provided on ordinary document processing machines activate the test device according to the invention. The energy of the respective activated transmitting electrode is capacitively over coupled if there is electrical conductivity between this transmitting electrode and the receiving electrode. If there is no electrical conductivity characteristic, no energy will be transferred between the activated transmitting electrode and the receiving electrode. The signal response at the receiving electrode is converted into a relevant signal figure. The signal figure depends on the structure of the metallized layer of the optically effective diffraction element. An electronic evaluation system arranged after the receiving electrode compares the signal figure of the test object with the relevant reference signals.
