Abstract

The present invention deals with a spinal instrumentation orientable by pedicle and / or sublaminar fixation and aims to allow the adaptation and restoration of the physiological curves of the spine. This device consists of pedicle screws and sub-laminar hooks. The main technical characteristics presented in the device in question is the lowering of the profile of its head so that it was possible to use it in high and dorsal lumbar levels, thus remaining below the level of the spiny apophysis; the introduction of a lateral channel around the head of the device that aims to attach a specific tool to perform compression and distraction, a tool that allows compression or distraction in such a way that the surgeon eliminates the turning movement in around the split spherical ring, besides allowing the correction of misalignment and the angulation of the support points, present due to the anatomical physiology of the spine.
