Abstract

"PRENDEDOR DE CORREIA". é previsto um prendedor articulado para emendar extremidades transversais de correias transportadoras juntamente com o prendedor de correia tendo dentes que são dobrados a partir de uma das placas do prendedor para perfuração e embutimento na correia a fim de aumentar o poder de retenção do prendedor. Na forma preferida, o prendedor é preso à extremidade da correia com dois rebites com os dentes sendo adjacentes ao rebites para proporcionar um prendedor pequeno, de baixo custo e de alto desempenho. Os dentes são formados dobrando-o a partir da borda externa da placa em torno de uma linha de dobramento paralela à borda interna da placa de modo que os dentes se confrontam com a extremidade da correia para manter os dentes contra serem puxados através do material da correia. A localização dos dentes adjacentes aos rebites maximiza a profundidade de penetração dos dentes dentro da correia para um melhor poder de retenção do predendor e minimiza a probabilidade de que os dentes vão ser curvados para cima e perder poder de retenção quando a correia é altamente tracionada.
