Trata esta patente de um sistema de sinalização luminosa de segurança para bicicletas, triciclos e outros veículos desprovidos de motores e de fontes de energia próprias, dito sistema valendo-se da tensão AC pulsante fornecida por um gerador solenoidal cujos componentes são afixados respectivamente a um dos eixos ou outra parte móvel do veículo, e a um suporte solidário à estrutura do mesmo. Em linhas gerais, a novidade consiste de um ou mais ímãs (1) encaixados e presos em orifícios (2) existentes em uma peça circular (3) de material termoplástico, centralmente vazada, ditos orifícios estando eq³idistantes do centro desta mesma peça, cada um deles tendo a mesma distância angular daqueles que lhe são contíguos, a referida peça sendo presa ao eixo (4) de uma da rosas (5), de modo a girar solidária a esta última, os ímãs (1) possuindo faces confrontantes planas (6) e (7), cada uma delas correspondendo a um de seus pólos, o eixo imaginário que une ditas faces estando paralelo ao eixo da roda (5) e ao eixo de simetria que atravessa axialmente o núcleo ferromagnético (8), maciço ou laminar; de uma ou mais bobinas cilíndricas (9) tipo solenóide, esta (s) bobina (s) sendo fixada (s) em encaixe (S) (10) existentes (s) em um suporte (11) fabricado em termoplástico ou outro material adequado e preso ao garfo (12) de sustentação do eixo da roda (5) de maneira que as bobinas (9) fiquem posicionadas frontalmente ao arco descrito pelo movimento dos ímãs (1) e a uma distância extremamente reduzida da face externa (7) destes últimos, fazendo que, com a movimentação da biciclete, a rotação da roda (5) determine a passagem dos ímãs (1) junto à(s) bobina(s) (9), que atravessa(m) as linhas de campo, gerando uma tensão no enrolamento, os terminais desta(s) bobina(s) sendo conectados aos terminais de um ou mais leds (13), dispostos em série e/ou em paralelo, posicionados na lateral (14) do suporte (11), em um orifício predisposto para recebê-lo, podendo ainda fixar-se os leds (13) em qualquer outro local adequado no quadro da bicicleta."SAFETY LIGHT SIGNALING SYSTEM FOR BICYCLES AND OTHER SIMILAR VEHICLES".
