Abstract

"ROLO DE LINGOTAMENTO E CADEIRA PARA ROLO DE LINGOTAMENTO". A invenção se refere a um rolo de lingotamento e a uma cadeira de lingotamento para o mesmo compreendendo um núcleo interno e uma capa externa e canais de resfriamento para permitir que refrigerante líquido escoe através do rolo para resfriar o rolo durante o lingotamento, a capa estando em íntimo contato com o núcleo e sendo removivelmente afixada ao mesmo por um encaixe por interferência de pelo menos 0,5 mm por metro de diâmetro do núcleo interno e os canais de resfriamento ficam localizados dentro da capa do rolo. O meio de resfriamento pode entrar por uma extremidade do rolo e se deslocar axialmene ao longo do comprimento do rolo e sair pela outra extremidade. Os canais de resfriamento podem ser dispostos no núcleo do rolo a pelo menos 20 mm da interface capa/núcleo e são agrupados e ligados a um suprimento de refrigerante de modo que o sentido de fluxo de refrigerante pode ser revertido.
