Campo da Invenção A presente invenção refere-se a um copo de filtro roscado laminado para ser usado com filtros de média pressão. Description of the Prior Art Medium pressure filters such as those used in hydraulic oil systems for hydrostatic actuators must withstand pressures greater than 28.12 Kg / cm2 (400 pounds per square inch). In addition, they are subjected to cyclical or repeated pressure applications. Conventional medium pressure filters include a metal container or cup typically made of steel and a filter element stored inside the cup. The cup is attached to a filter column which is in fluid communication with a conduit through which the hydraulic fluid passes. Such cup and filter element arrangements are manufactured as a single unit. The open end of the container is formed with threads for coupling with the filter column. Such filters are known in the art as "screw-in filters". The integral cup with the filter element inside is screwed onto the filter column and is then in fluid communication with the duct. When the filter element becomes contaminated due to use and reaches the end of its life, the entire filter set, including the filter element and the cup, are removed from the column. "FILTER CUP AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME" The present invention relates to a filter cup (8). The filter cup (8) includes an elongated container having an open end (16), a closed end and a wall having an outer surface (26), the outer surface having a plurality of laminated threads (24). The outer surface (26) includes a non-threaded portion (28) located between the open end (16) and the plurality of laminated threads (24). The filter cup (8) is preferably made of steel and is produced in a process that includes the steps of: 1) deep drawing of the elongated container, and 2) lamination of the threads on the outer surface of the container.
