A gaxeta é montada em toda área de borda da superfície lateral interna de uma porta, e um sulco para acomodar a gaxeta é formado numa superfície frontal de um gabinete. A gaxeta e o sulco são de forma ajustável, o gabinete é fechado de forma justa pela porta, de modo que o vazamento de ar frio por qualquer lacuna entre o gabinete e porta ;e eficientemente prevenido.
