A presente invenção provê uma nova proteína antigênica obtenível a partir da forma coccóide de H. pylori. O uso da proteína antigênica em processos para detecção de H. pylori, assim como na preparação de vacinas é também descrito. Um processo para cultivar a forma coccóide de H. pylori é também provido."ANTIGENIC PROTEIN, USE OF THE SAME, USE OF ANTIBODIES, KIT FOR USE IN A PROCESS, COMPOSITION, AND PROCESSES FOR THE DETECTION OF H. The present invention provides a new antigenic protein obtainable from the coccoid form of H. pylori. The use of antigenic protein in processes for the detection of H. pylori, as well as in the preparation of vaccines is also described. A process for cultivating the coccoid form of H. pylori is also provided.
