CONSTRUCTIVE PROVISION APPLIED ON WALLS EQUIPPED WITH TRIPLE PROTECTION PLATES

[001] This application for a Utility Model Patent relates to a Constructive Disposition Applied to Walls Equipped with Triple Protection Plates, whose characteristics presented provide a series of advantages which will inhibit or make it as difficult as possible the attempts of robberies or assaults in the Bank branches where the respective central vaults are located, as thieves use the most diverse forms of attack in these places, such as the use of abrasive equipment (sanders, drills), blowtorches and even explosives (dynamite), which have a high destructive power. As we know, against such tools and artifacts it is almost impossible to have the necessary protection so that installations and access to the aforementioned safes of banking institutions do not occur, which causes great inconvenience for the bank and also for the account holders. The product proposed herein must be installed on the external side of the bank branches (walls) that contain the aforementioned safes. The triple protection plates are made up of three layers of different high hardness materials (carbon steel, special ceramic layer and polyurea layer, which will form a barrier of great impact protection, which, depending on the type of attack suffered, will certainly delay the action of the bandits, as they will take much longer to try to destroy the plates with the three layers and thus will give up theft or will be easy prey for capture by the police, thus providing a series of advantages inherent to their applicability, being their innovative features in the genre.

[002] Statistics show that in two years, 202 attacks with explosives on banks were registered in the State of São Paulo alone. There were 100 attacks in 2017 and 102 in 2018, according to data from the State Public Security Secretariat. The targets were ATMs or bank branch vaults. Thieves' gangs continue to act, mainly in small towns in the interior of the State of São Paulo and other states in Brazil. To combat the attacks, Brazilian banks have invested in anti-theft technology, ranging from super-equipped ATMs to facial recognition cameras. When all that fails or costs become prohibitive, banks close their branches. The result is that some cities have no easier access to banking services. The population of these cities is the one who loses with this, there are cases that account holders have to travel more than 50 kilometers to go to the bank in another city.

[003] Central bank vaults, unlike what happens with smaller vaults, are not mounted in one place and then taken to the centrals. They are assembled on the premises. This involves a series of procedures that must be strictly followed, as it is the assembly that will guarantee the safety of the stored goods in the future. And the biggest structures to be placed in the process are the very high density walls. They are created by specialized companies, having very heavy and resistant materials in their construction, this prevents someone from breaking into the vaults with medium-caliber axes and weapons, for example, each wall is composed of layers of reinforced steel and high-strength concrete with great thickness. In the assembly process, vibration tools are still used so that any presence of air is summarily eliminated. In this way, the system allows even more strength to the walls, leaving them less vulnerable to external actions. And even so, these walls are targeted by thieves and they manage with dynamite to shake the structures and take the money contained in the safe.

[004] With this in mind, the applicant, after several studies and research, managed to intelligently and innovatively develop the Constructive Disposition Applied on Walls Equipped with Triple Protection Plate, installed on the walls containing the safes of bank branches, which will provide a much greater resistance to thieves' attacks. The great advantage of applying the Triple Protection Plate in bank branches is its efficiency, as it can act in different types of protection, not only dynamite (explosives), but also due to the composition of high hardness ceramic and steel, the plate is effective in the use of rotary abrasion equipment and also in the use of thermal torches. Even using all the resources that thieves have, they will be delayed in time. The associated layers in this order object behave stable and make their destruction very difficult. The more time thieves spend breaking into, the less chance they have for their criminal intent to succeed.

[005] In the current market, there is still nothing that can obstruct the action of thieves in terms of breaking into bank branches, because, even with thick steel and concrete walls, thieves manage with the use of tools (high thermal lance performance, blowtorches, high-powered drills, hole saws, grinders, etc.) in addition to destructive resources such as explosives (dynamite, plastic explosives, nitroglycerin, firecrackers and cartridged explosives of all kinds) to knock them down, however, the walls equipped with triple protection plates can act on these points and will become much more efficient and secure.

[006] In order to obtain a clear view of the Constructive Disposition Applied to Walls Equipped with Triple Protection Plate, the illustrative drawings are included in order to better elucidate the following detailed description, where:

[0013] According to these illustrations and in their presented details, the Constructive Disposition Applied to Walls Equipped with Triple Protection Plate, consists of aggregating in a wall (1) of a bank branch, a triple plate (2) quadrangular (which may have different dimensions according to the size of the walls) containing three different materials, whose resistance will be very high, capable of neutralizing any attacks on benches; being that the first plate (3) is in high hardness carbon steel (above 450 HBW) its thickness can vary between 8 to 12 mm; the second plate (4) is ceramic with a silicon carbide base and its thickness can vary between 10 to 20 mm; and the third plate (5) is a bicomponent elastomer based on polyurea, and its thickness can vary between 5 to 10 mm; the triple protection plate also has threaded tie rods (6) that will be fixed to the plate using chemical fasteners and then to the walls.

[0014] As we have seen, the Constructive Disposition Applied to Walls Equipped with Triple Protection Plate, fully satisfies the proposed objectives, fulfilling in a practical, efficient and safe way the intended function, providing advantages inherent to its applicability, having its own characteristics , innovative and endowed with fundamental requirements of novelty.
