Abstract

INSTRUMENTO POSICIONAR DE ACESSÓRIOS ORTODÔNTICOS PARA COLAGEM. Esse instrumento odontológico presta-se ao direcionamento de acessórios ortodônticos em colagens. Apresenta duas pontas ativas, uma destina-se a bráquetes e a outra a tubos. A extremidade para colagem de bráquetes tem a forma de um bastão, com 12,0 mm de comprimento, secção transversal parabólica, angulado em 130 graus em relação ao cabo e gradua-se a cada milímetro a partir de seu extremo com 3,0 mm, até o oitavo (A em detalhe, figura 1). A outra extremidade tem a forma de uma sela, em vista lateral, seu longo eixo descreve um ângulo de 50 graus com o cabo. Atualmente a especialidade ortodôntica emprega, em quase a totalidade de casos, acessórios colados. This dental instrument, made of stainless steel, is intended to guide the precise bonding of orthodontic accessories on the buccal dental surfaces.

The first has a straight extension, making the long axis of the cable an angle of 130 degrees.

Its cross section is parabolic in shape, with the apex facing outwards, part to be introduced into the accessory channel.
