CONSTRUCTIVE ARRANGEMENT FIELD

The present Utility Model aims at an improvement applied to cans, for use as packaging for beverages and the like, with a view to improving their use and efficiency in relation to existing ones.

More particularly, the improvement is the insertion of a threaded and centrally poured tip in the center of the can lid, in order to allow access to its contents without said stored product contacting the outer surface of the packaging. In addition, this improvement allows the user to open and close the can, unlike what happens with beverage cans traditionally found in the counter market.

BASICS OF CONSTRUCTIVE ARRANGEMENT

The traditional packaging for storing beverages is already known, among which the can stands out due to the practicality they provide in allowing the sale of drinks in individual doses.

The cans were initially made of foil-deflanders, consisting of steel sheets electrolytically coated with tin. In recent decades it has been replaced by aluminum foil, due to several factors, among which the following stand out: easier to form, making its manufacture more economical and with less tool wear; greater recyclability, as it does not degrade as easily as it does with tinplate; reduced oxidation index, ensuring the

2/9 better preservation of the drink; free of oxidation spots, due to small dents; higher coefficient of heat transmission, which facilitates and reduces costs for the initial cooling of the drink; among others.

In this sense, aluminum has several advantages, thanks to its physical properties.

With regard to the opening and access to the content of beverage cans, several models were developed, many of which needed special tools to open them.

In 1959, Ermal Fraze invented the pulltab method, which eliminated the need for a separate opening tool by attaching an aluminum lever pull ring with a rivet to a pre-marked wedge-shaped guide section of the top can. It was like having the opening tool built into each can. The ring was facing the center of the upper part, which created a wedge of sufficient opening to create a sufficient orifice to both let the drink flow out and the air to flow in. In the 1970s, the clip was very popular, however its popularity came with a significant problem, because users often discarded the flaps as garbage.

The problems of waste generation, and even the security that the pull-tab system had, were eventually solved in this same decade with the invention of the stay-on-tab system (ring “attached to the lid”). The pull ring was replaced with a rigid aluminum lever, and the removable separator was replaced with a round pre-marked separator that functioned similarly to the impulse

However, in my opinion, despite the wide use of the beverage can with a stay-on-tab system or other similar systems, an inconvenience with regard to hygiene has recently been noted, since in this system the consumer is forced to touch his lips on the rim. from the can to consume the drink. This fact adds a very serious health problem, given that not all merchants, street vendors and beverage vendors are careful to sanitize the can properly before supplying it to a consumer.

The consumer himself can also neglect in this sense, when he buys drinks in supermarkets and stores them in refrigerators, in their homes.

This issue even touched public authorities. In 2000 a bill was launched (PL 3418), which provided for the opening system for cans of soft drinks, beers and the like, trying to force the producing industries to adopt an opening system that does not allow the contact of the outside of the container with the liquid to be ingested. Since then, efforts have been made to resolve this issue by encouraging companies to develop ways to open and access the content of beverage cans that replace the current system.

The technical environment responded to this appeal in several ways, such as replacing the cans with long neck bottles, mini plastic or even aluminum bottles, among others, however the consumer still looks for the consumption of drinks in the traditional cans, by preference.

Through these and other diverse aspects and needs of the technical environment, the inventor developed MU 7901577 (WO 01/05672 A1), which is a can of liquid drinks of larger dimensions than conventional ones, to store 2 liters of drink, which has a top screw cap, which fits the protruding spout of the can. A wider lower step, in it, serves the locking system, allowing the cap to be released when screwing, allowing access to the product.

This constructive disposition clearly met the need to access the contents of the can without contact of the outside of the container with the liquid to be ingested, however, the inventor himself saw the need to improve this constructive disposition, to improve their procurement and manufacturing process.

SUMMARY OF THE PROVISION

CONSTRUCTIVE

This Utility Model is an improvement introduced in tin-type packaging, preferably metallic, more specifically aluminum, obtained by traditional forming processes, however, with a difference in relation to its closure lid and access to the content, or in other words, the top closing cover is designed with an opening obtained by stamping and drawing, so that it promotes the formation of a raised and monobloc rim, with a curved perimeter, forming a circular sling.

On this elevation, it is fitted and fixed inside the base of an upper threaded tip, provided with a lid and centrally hollow, so that the circular sling

5/9 go inside the base, until it fits inside a circular recess, arranged inside the base itself. It should be noted that both the tip and the lid are made of polymeric materials, which give the necessary flexibility and compatibility to fit the elevation contained in the can.

This produces a can for the storage of beverages, equipped with a tip and a screw cap that is completely hygienic and avoids contact between the user's lips and the outside of the can, that is, when the user needs to consume the contents of the can you can do this by unscrewing and removing the cap, which protects the tip and its surroundings, and projecting it directly into your mouth or into a glass. The present patent also becomes versatile, as it allows the introduction of a straw inside the can, if the user prefers.

In addition, the present arrangement allows the can to be closed and opened as many times as necessary, thus facilitating the storage of the remaining contents or even making the disposal more hygienic, that is, do not expose its interior to the contact of insects while in the trash , for example.

In addition, the present improvement is easy to assemble, not requiring the adoption of highly complex tools for the union of the tip on the high curved conical elevation contained in the can lid, because the shape and the disposition of its parts allows the precise and effective locking of the tip over the can.

Thus, the present patent was designed to obtain a device conveniently configured and arranged so that it performs its functions with unmatched efficiency and versatility, without the inconveniences already mentioned.

It is thus understood that the device now presented and extremely simple in its constructivity, being, therefore, easy to perform, however, excellent practical and functional results are obtained, offering an innovative constructivity on the known models.

Idealized with an innovative design, it results in a harmonic set, with a very peculiar aspect and, above all, characteristic, and, in addition to the constructive aspect, the model stands out for its versatility and convenience of use.
