Abstract

DETECTAR REAÇÕES DE TERMITE EM UMA CÉLULA ELETROLÍTICA. Um método para detectar uma reação de termite em uma célula eletrolítica compreendendo uma montagem de ânodo de um ou mais ânodos contendo óxido metálico é revelado. Cada montagem de ânodo é energizada por uma corrente provida através de uma haste de ânodo distinta para cada montagem de ânodo. O método compreende: medir uma queda de voltagem usando um par de sondas de voltagem localizada na haste de ânodo, a queda de voltagem correspondendo a um fluxo de corrente na montagem de ânodo; processar a queda de voltagem pela computação de pelo menos uma da derivada da queda de voltagem, da variância da queda de voltagem e da derivada da variância da queda de voltagem; e detectar uma reação de termite com base nos resultados do processamento de sinal, antes de mitigar e/ou suprimir a reação de termite ajustando-se os parâmetros operacionais da célula eletrolítica. Esse método é particularmente vantajoso visto que o mesmo reduz o número de quedas de voltagem necessárias para detectar uma reação de termite por um fator de 10.
