Uma unidade de recepção de transmissão sem fio (WTRU) pode ter vários painéis de antena que podem ser capazes de diferentes modos de operação, como DL/DL simultâneo (S-DD), UL/UL simultâneo (S-UU) e DL/UL simultâneo (S-DU).
