Sistema(s), método(s) e dispositivo(s) para transmissão e recepção simultâneas são divulgados aqui. Uma unidade de recepção de transmissão sem fio (WTRU) pode ter vários painéis de antena que podem ser capazes de diferentes modos de operação, como DL/DL simultâneo (S-DD), UL/UL simultâneo (S-UU) e DL/UL simultâneo (S-DU). Além disso, a WTRU pode usar cada painel independentemente para se comunicar com múltiplos pontos de transmissão e recepção simultaneamente. A WTRU pode fazer isso usando indicadores de controle de transmissão, sinais de referência, técnicas de monitoramento adequadas para transmissão múltipla e comunicação de ponto de recepção.
