Abstract

CODIFICAÇÃO DE PACOTE COM BASE EM CÓDIGOS DE RAPTOR PARA PERMITIR DETERMINAÇÃO OU SELEÇÃO DE TAXA DE ERRO DE CAMADA FÍSICA ADAPTÁVEL. Em um aspecto da divulgação, um método de comunicação sem fio realizado por um dispositivo de recepção inclui receber, a partir de um dispositivo de transmissão, uma pluralidade de pacotes codificados, cada um incluindo pelo menos um respectivo símbolo de camada física (PHY). O método inclui decodificar a pluralidade de pacotes codificados com base em um código de raptor para gerar dados recebidos. O método também inclui determinar uma razão de sinal-interferência-mais-ruído (SINR) associada ao recebimento da pluralidade de pacotes codificados, receber uma indicação do dispositivo de transmissão, ou determinar um indicador de qualidade de canal (CQI) ou um esquema de modulação e codificação (MCS) associado ao recebimento da pluralidade de pacotes codificados. O método inclui adicionalmente determinar de forma adaptativa uma taxa de erro de pacote PHY associada à pluralidade de pacotes codificados com base na SINR, na indicação, no CQI, ou no MCS.
