Abstract

MÉTODO PARA RECICLAR UM RESÍDUO PLÁSTICO, E, USO DE UM COPRODUTO DE RECUPERAÇÃO CONTENDO TEREFTALATO DE POLIETILENO E METAL. Processos e instalações para usar um ou mais materiais contendo PET como uma matéria-prima em uma instalação de reciclagem química e em particular uma instalação de solvólise, são aqui providos. Os materiais contendo PET usados como matéria-prima podem compreender uma quantidade de coproduto de recuperação contendo PET e metal. O coproduto de recuperação contendo PET e metal pode compreender uma quantidade de artigos plásticos, flocos de plástico e/ou finos de plástico e pode ser derivado de processos de separação de recuperação de plástico tal como separadores de corrente parasita. Tais coprodutos contendo metal são geralmente indesejáveis ou não utilizáveis nas instalações de reciclagem mecânica de PET e normalmente são enviados para aterros sanitários e/ou incinadores. Entretanto, os processos e instalações aqui descritos fazem uso do PET e outros plásticos presentes nestes coprodutos contendo metal de outro modo indesejáveis ou não utilizáveis.
