Abstract
IMPLANTES ORTOPÉDICOS E INSTRUMENTOS PARA SUPRIR OS MESMOS. A presente invenção refere-se a um sistema de tratamento de fraturas que pode incluir um par de implantes com pinos cruzados no canal medular de um osso, guiados por pelo menos um fio guia com pelo menos dois diâmetros. O sistema permite um dimensionamento mais preciso do comprimento dos implantes necessários para obter aquisição bicortical para maior estabilidade, bem como a antirrotação do local da fratura. O dimensionamento e a colocação mais precisos dos implantes com pinos cruzados permitem ainda que ambas as extremidades dos implantes se rebaixem ou fiquem niveladas com a superfície externa do osso, o que pode reduzir o risco de infecção. O fio guia pode permitir que os implantes sejam inseridos usando uma técnica canulada para um procedimento cirúrgico mais fácil e um resultado melhor, com os implantes tendo espessura de parede suficiente para o comprimento desejado alcançar a aquisição bicortical mantendo o diâmetro externo do eixo do implante similar a um diâmetro do fio guia.
