Abstract

FORMULAÇÃO PROBIÓTICA E ENTREGA. A presente invenção se refere geralmente a bactérias anaeróbicas estritas encapsuladas, (por exemplo, Megasphaera eldesdenii e Ruminicoccus bromi), composições que compreendem o mesmo, e o uso de referidas cápsulas e/ou composições para entregar as bactérias anaeróbicas estritas ao trato gastrointestinal (GI) de um animal, como um animal de gado (por exemplo, um ruminante ou animal que realiza fermentação intestinal). A presente invenção se refere ao encapsulamento de bactérias anaeróbicas estritas que utilizam ácido láctico e/ou amido e o uso dessas bactérias encapsuladas no campo da saúde e nutrição animal. Em exemplos particulares, a presente invenção utiliza cápsulas porosas que compreendem poros superficiais com um peso molecular de corte entre 50 e 200 kDa e a parede composta por um complexo formado a partir de sulfato de sódio celulósico e poli[dimetildialil-cloreto de amônia].
