Abstract

INTERAÇÃO DO SINAL DE DESPERTAR (WUS) COM A RECEPÇÃO DE SINAL DE REFERÊNCIA DE POSICIONAMENTO. (PRS) DE DOWNLINK EM UMA REDE NÃO CABEADA. Um equipamento do usuário, UE, operando em um modo de recepção descontínua, DRX, recebe (1104) um sinal de despertar indicando que o UE deve pular a próxima duração ON do ciclo DRX, isto é, o UE é instruído a não despertar durante um próximo tempo ON durante o ciclo DRX para monitorar os sinais de comunicação, tais como sinais de dados ou sinais de controle. O UE é configurado para receber (1102) downlink, DL, sinais de referência de posicionamento, PRSs, por exemplo, durante a próxima duração ON do ciclo DRX. O UE responde (1106) à configuração do PRS e o sinal de despertar por permanecer no modo de suspensão DRX e não receber o PRS ou transicionar para o modo DRX ON para receber o PRS durante o qual o UE pode monitorar ou não os sinais de comunicação. O servidor de localização recebe indicações da configuração e estado do sinal de despertar a partir de uma estação base ou do UE.
