BIOMATERIAIS PARA ENGENHARIA DE TECIDO ÓSSEO. A presente invenção se refere aqui a biomateriais de estrutura tridimensional incluindo um tecido de planta ou fúngico descelularizado do qual são removidos materiais celulares e ácidos nucleicos do tecido, o tecido de planta ou fúngico descelularizado tendo uma estrutura porosa tridimensional; onde o tecido de planta ou fúngico descelularizado pode opcionalmente ser pelo menos parcialmente revestido ou mineralizado, onde o biomaterial de estrutura tridimensional pode, opcionalmente, incluir ainda um hidrogel à base de proteína e/ou um hidrogel à base de polissacarídeo, ou ambos. Também são fornecidos aqui métodos e usos para esses biomateriais de estrutura tridimensional, incluindo métodos de fabricação bem como métodos e usos para engenharia de tecido ósseo, por exemplo.BIOMATERIALS FOR BONE TISSUE ENGINEERING. The present invention relates herein to biomaterials of three-dimensional structure including a decellularized plant or fungal tissue from which cellular materials and tissue nucleic acids are removed, the decellularized plant or fungal tissue having a three-dimensional porous structure; where the decellularized plant or fungal tissue may optionally be at least partially coated or mineralized, where the three-dimensional structure biomaterial may optionally further include a protein-based hydrogel and/or a polysaccharide-based hydrogel, or both. Also provided herein are methods and uses for these three-dimensional structured biomaterials, including fabrication methods as well as methods and uses for bone tissue engineering, for example.
