composições de hialuronidase e métodos de uso das mesmas para tratar uma condição cosmética. a presente invenção refere-se a um método de tratamento de inchaço periorbital devido a edema periorbital em um indivíduo em necessidade do mesmo, administrando uma composição que compreende uma proteína tendo atividade de hialuronidase à região periorbital do indivíduo. também é fornecido um método para avaliar o inchaço peri-orbital em um indivíduo, determinando se o indivíduo exibe pseudo-herniação de uma ou mais bolsas de gordura da pálpebra superior e uma ou mais bolsas de gordura da pálpebra inferior; determinar se o indivíduo exibe edema em uma ou mais das bolsas de gordura da pálpebra superior e uma ou mais das bolsas de gordura da pálpebra inferior; determinar se o indivíduo apresenta edema no tecido periorbital; e pontuar o inchaço periorbital devido ao edema periorbital de cada uma das três determinações anteriores.
