peptídeos de automontagem na prevenção e tratamento de lesão cariosa cavitada. a presente invenção está no campo da prevenção e tratamento de cáries, em particular de tratamento de deterioração dental minimamente invasivo ou não invasivo. está relacionada à uma composição e a um kit compreendendo um peptídeo de automontagem, tal como o peptídeo de automontagem p11-4 ou p11-8 e um agente dental, a saber um selante dental, por exemplo, um selante à base de cimento de ionômero de vidro ou um selante à base de resina, um verniz fluoretado, um material de restauração dental ou um agente de ligação. a presente invenção está ainda relacionada a uma composição e a um kit compreendendo um peptídeo de automontagem e um agente dental para uso no tratamento de uma lesão cariosa, preferencialmente uma lesão cariosa cavitada. o peptídeo de automontagem previne cáries secundárias após falha do agente dental usado no tratamento de cáries cavitadas, especialmente no caso de uma falha na interface entre a restauração com o agente dental e o dente. a composição e o kit da presente invenção também podem ser usados para capeamento pulpar.
