Abstract
dispositivo, sistema e método para determinação das características estruturais de um objeto. a presente invenção refere-se, de modo geral, a um sistema e método para medição das características estruturais de um objeto (90). o objeto (90) é submetido a processos de aplicação de energia que fornecem uma medição objetiva e quantitativa das características estruturais de um objeto (90). o sistema pode incluir um dispositivo (100), por exemplo, um instrumento de percussão, capaz de ser posicionado de forma reprodutiva contra o objeto (90) submetido à referida medição para posicionamento reproduzível. o sistema inclui recursos para ajuste da energia aplicada a uma ferramenta de aplicação de energia (110) para compensar as características físicas ou tipo de objeto e/ou a orientação do dispositivo (100) em relação à horizontal durante a medição. o sistema também inclui um recurso ou conjunto descartável para minimizar a contaminação cruzada entre os testes. as características estruturais, conforme aqui definidas, podem incluir capacidades de amortecimento de vibração, capacidades de amortecimento acústico, integridade estrutural ou estabilidade estrutural.
