Abstract
método de processamento de resíduos contendo enxofre provenientes de refinarias e melhoradore. trata-se de métodos e sistemas que alavancam recursos de redução de enxofre presentes na maioria das refinarias ou outras usinas de processamento de hidrocarboneto, como usinas de processamento de gás natural para capturar e tratar subprodutos contendo enxofre, como so2, gerados durante a regeneração de catalisadores gastos de hdp. assim, os métodos e sistemas revelados permitem a conversão do catalisador gasto residual perigoso em um produto vendável em sua fonte, enquanto simultaneamente captura os óxidos de enxofre removidos do catalisador e os converte em um produto útil em vez de em uma corrente residual resultante que requer gerenciamento e/ou descarte. assim, os resíduos de refinaria contendo enxofre gastos, como catalisador de hdp, podem ser torrados ou regenerados no local da refinaria para converter os resíduos contendo enxofre perigosos em um ou mais produtos vendáveis.
