Abstract
a presente invenção refere-se a um método de instalar no mar um cano submarino pré-aquecido de parede dupla para transportar fluidos, sendo que o método compreende, em sucessão, para cada nova seção de cano (2) a ser montada no cano que já está instalado no mar: uma etapa de pré-aquecimento do elemento de unidade de parede interna dentro do elemento de unidade de parede externa da nova seção de cano; uma etapa de montar os elementos de unidade de parede interna da nova seção de cano na parede interna (4') do cano (10) que já está instalado no mar; uma etapa de montar o elemento de unidade de parede externa da nova seção de cano na parede externa (6') do cano (10) que já está instalado no mar; uma etapa de descer a nova seção de cano para o mar; e repetir as etapas acima para outras novas seções de cano a serem montadas de modo a pré-esforçar o cano enquanto o mesmo está a ser instalado no mar.
