a presente invenção provê um cartucho (1) para um aquecedor químico usado em operações de perfurações em poços. o cartucho (1) compreende uma quantidade de uma fonte de calor de reação química (2) acondicionada em um revestimento temporário (3) que é capaz de manter a forma do cartucho (1) antes do uso mas que é consumido durante a combustão do aquecedor. a presente invenção ainda provê uma ferramenta de vedação/tapamento do poço de uma liga baseada em eutética/bismuto (5). a ferramenta (5) tendo um corpo aquecedor tubular (6) com uma cavidade interna (8) habilitada para receber uma fonte de calor químico e uma quantidade de liga baseada em eutética/bismuto (7) provida em comunicação térmica com o corpo aquecedor (6) em torno de uma superfície externa do corpo aquecedor (6). a ferramenta tem uma luva (10) provida em torno de uma superfície externa da liga (7) que isola e/ou protege mecanicamente a liga na perfuração do poço. desta forma, a luva (10) possibilita o diâmetro da ferramenta (5) ser reduzido enquanto mantendo sua funcionalidade. em um adicional aspecto, a presente invenção ainda revela a provisão de um revestimento refratário (20) nas paredes internas do corpo aquecedor tubular dos aquecedores químicos, como o aquecedor (6) usado na ferramenta de vedação/tapamento do poço na liga baseada em eutética/bismuto.
