trata-se de aparelhos e métodos fornecidos para o roteamento de enlace ascendente de lwa. em um aspecto inovador, a sinalização de um endereço de enb para o ue para habilitar o ue a preencher o endereço 3 do cabeçalho mac para habilitar o encaminhamento da camada 2 de pdus de lwa de enlace ascendente do ap de wlan para uma entidade de rede apropriada que implanta parte ou todas as funcionalidades do wt. em uma modalidade, a entidade de rede é um nó wt ou o enb ou um nó que agrega várias conexões a um nó wt. em uma modalidade, a sinalização rrc é usada para enviar o endereço mac do nó wt em que a mensagem de sinalização rrc é uma mensagem pdcp-config ou uma mensagem wlan-mobilityconfig. em uma modalidade, múltiplos nós wt são conectados ao ap de wlan. o enb seleciona um nó wt ou o ue seleciona um nó wt para preencher o endereço 3 do cabeçalho mac.
