Abstract
Trata-se de uma mangueira, tal como um riser flexível (10), que compreende uma estrutura, em geral, tubular cilíndrica com pelo menos uma camada (18, 20) de ligamentos de aço próxima à superfície externa, sendo que os ligamentos de aço são contidos dentro de uma camada tubular (30, 32, 34) que compreende material polimérico; a mangueira flexível também incorpora uma multiplicidade de bobinas sensoras (40) embutidas na camada tubular, sendo que cada tal bobinas sensoras é uma bobina plana que fica em um plano substancialmente paralelo à camada adjacente (20) de ligamentos de aço, para que um eixo geométrico da bobina ortogonal ao plano da bobina plana (40) se estenda em uma direção radial em relação à mangueira (10). Cada tal bobinas sensoras (40) pode fazer parte de um módulo eletrônico (35) que também incorpora um circuito de processamento de sinal (41, 42) e um circuito de recepção de energia de RF e transmissão de dados (43). Quando aquela porção da mangueira (10) é submetida a um campo magnético alternado, sinais das bobinas sensoras (40) podem ser analisados para deduzir informações sobre a tensão nos ligamentos de aço.
