um método e sistema para perfurar um poço. um método para perfurar um poço inclui: gerar uma biblioteca de padrões definidos, cada um dos padrões definidos correspondendo a um comportamento operacional do equipamento de perfuração usado para perfurar o poço; coletar, durante a operação do equipamento de perfuração, medições de sensores acoplados ao equipamento de perfuração; caracterizar as medições como correlacionado a um dos padrões definidos; detectar o um dos padrões definidos nas medições; extrair um recurso a partir das medições; determinar uma condição do equipamento de perfuração comparando um valor do recurso a um limiar derivado do um dos padrões definidos; e ativar um acionador acoplado ao equipamento de perfuração para ajustar a operação do equipamento de perfuração com base na condição.
