Abstract
trata-se de sistemas e métodos revelados para sinalização eficaz entre dispositivos. um dispositivo de retransmissão inicia a associação aos sinais de difusão de descoberta para dispositivos leaf. cada leaf responde com sinais de solicitação de associação. após associação, a retransmissão envia periodicamente sinais para estar ativo para o leaf, e o leaf envia periodicamente sinais de confirmação de enlace para a retransmissão. se o dispositivo falhar em receber seu sinal, quebra de enlace é suposta. o dispositivo leaf reverte para comunicação de enlace ascendente com uma estação-base enquanto pesquisa por uma outra retransmissão. em uma outra modalidade, a leaf antecede a associação a uma retransmissão, em vez de formar uma conexão de dispositivo a dispositivo (d2d) com uma retransmissão. uma conexão de d2d é usada quando o leaf não espera que um enlace a uma retransmissão esteja estável para justificar a sobrecarga de associação, ou quando o tráfego de enlace descendente está chegando mais frequentemente do que uma retransmissão associada está alerta. outros aspectos, modalidades e recursos também são reivindicados e descritos.
