a invenção se refere a um módulo de resfriamento para um compartimento de fonte de alimentação elétrica de um veículo ferroviário, e a um compartimento de fonte de alimentação elétrica e veículo ferroviário relacionados. o dito módulo de resfriamento (14a) inclui: um conjunto de uma ou mais células peltier incluindo, no lado interno, uma superfície interna de transmissão de calor e, no lado externo, uma superfície externa de transmissão de calor; um dissipador de calor interno (46a) e um dissipador de calor externo (48a) que faz contato térmico com a superfície interna de transmissão de calor e a superfície externa de transmissão de calor, respectivamente; e pelo menos uma ventoinha interna (50a) e pelo menos uma ventoinha externa (54a) que são capazes de causar fluxo de ar interno através do dissipador de calor interno (46a) e fluxo de ar externo através do dissipador de calor externo (48a), respectivamente.
