Abstract

um aparelho para codificação de um sinal multicanal tendo, pelo menos, dois canais compreende: um conversor tempo-espectral (1000) para converter sequências de blocos de valores de amostragem de, pelo menos, dois canais em uma representação de domínio de frequência tenda sequências de blocos de valores espectrais para, pelo menos, dois canais; um processador multicanal (1010) para aplicar um processamento multicanal conjunto às sequências de blocos de valores espectrais para obter, pelo menos, uma sequência de resultado de blocos de valores espectrais, compreendendo informações relacionadas a, pelo menos, dois canais; um conversor espectro-temporal (1640) para converter a sequência de resultado de blocos de valores espectrais em uma representação de domínio de tempo, compreendendo uma sequência de saída de blocos de valores de amostragem; e um codificador central (1040) para codificar a sequência de saída de blocos de valores de amostragem para obter um sinal multicanal codificado (1510), caracterizado pelo codificador central (1040) ser configurado para operar de acordo com um primeiro controle de quadros para fornecer uma sequência de quadros, em que um quadro é limitado por uma borda do quadro inicial (1901) e uma borda do quadro final (1902) e em que o conversor tempo-espectral (1000) ou o conversor espectro-temporal (1030) é configurado para operar de acordo com um segundo controle de quadros sendo sincronizado ao primeiro controle de quadros, em que a borda do quadro inicial (1901) ou a borda do quadro final (1902) de cada quadro da sequência de quadros está em uma relação predeterminada a um instante inicial ou a um instante final de uma porção de sobreposição de uma janela utilizada pelo conversor tempo-espectral (1000) para cada bloco da sequência de blocos de valores de amostragem, ou utilizada pelo conversor espectro-temporal (1030) para cada bloco da sequência de saída de blocos de valores de amostragem.
