a presente invenção descreve um método para aceleração do crescimento vegetal por meio do silenciamento do gene della, bem como as plantas transgênicas obtidas a partir do método descrito, mais especificamente cana-de-açúcar. o referido gene della é responsável pelo controle do desenvolvimento vegetal, logo, as canas-de-açúcar que compreendem este gene silenciado ou com expressão reduzida apresentam desenvolvimento mais rápido sem que os níveis de sacarose sejam comprometidos.The present invention describes a method for accelerating plant growth by silencing the della gene, as well as transgenic plants obtained from the described method, more specifically sugarcane.
