Abstract

a presente invenção fornece um conector do tipo tubo em tubo (pip) para uso em uma tubulação do tipo pip para lançamento em um ambiente marinho, sendo que a tubulação do tipo pip compreende pelo menos tubos de metal internos e externos e um espaço anular entre os mesmos, sendo que o conector compreende pelo menos: (a) uma primeira extremidade de conector que compreende colares longitudinais internos e externos com circunferência correspondente às circunferências dos tubos internos e externos da tubulação do tipo pip e passíveis de soldagem a uma tubulação do tipo pip, e (b) uma segunda extremidade de conector que compreende uma porção usinada configurada para ser compatível com um portal ou furo complementar de uma estrutura submarina em linha, e se conectar ao mesmo, e uma porção de acoplamento para acoplamento a uma seção de tubulação, sendo que o dito acoplamento é passível de desacoplamento.
