Abstract
a presente divulgação refere-se a um modo e dispositivo para adaptar um conteúdo de video decodificado a partirt dos fluxos elementares às características de um display a partir de, pelo menos, um tipo de metadados que fornece informação em reção aos referidos fluxos elementares. tal método compreende: - obter (102) uma informação adicional (hdr descr.) indicando a presença de um tipo particular de metadados; - determinar se o referido conteúdo de vídeo decodificado a partir dos fluxos elementares pode ser visualizado no referido display (11) a partir da referida informação adicional (hdr descr.) e as características do display (edid); e - se o referido conteúdo de vídeo decodificado a partir de fluxos elementares for determinado como sendo exibível, selecionar (105) um processo a partir da referida informação adicional e as características do display e adaptar (106) o conteúdo de vídeo de acordo com o processo selecionado.
