a invenção visa a aumentar a resistência dos pneumáticos que compreendem duas camadas de trabalho (41, 42), que compreendem elementos de reforço (411, 421) paralelos entre si e que formam cada uma delas com a direção circunferencial (xx?) do pneumático, um ângulo orientado (a1, a2) do qual o valor absoluto é pelo menos igual a 20º e no máximo igual a 50º, tal que esses ângulos respectivos são de sinais opostos, os ditos elementos de reforço de cada lona sendo constituídos por fios metálicos unitários ou monofilamentos que têm uma seção da qual a menor dimensão é pelo menos igual a 0,20 mm e no máximo igual a 0,5 mm. o pneumático compreende também ranhuras maiores axialmente exteriores (24) na banda de rodagem (2). o perfil linear médio l das ranhuras maiores axialmente exteriores (24) de uma largura w pelo menos igual a 1 mm e de uma profundidade d pelo menos igual a 5 mm, formam com a direção circunferencial (xx), um ângulo c que pertence ao intervalo [min(a1,a2) + 100º, max(a1, a2) + 80º].
