Abstract

trata-se de um aparelho para avaliação do desempenho em serviços de saúde (10), que inclui ao menos um processador (16, 20, 22, 24) programado para: coletar informações associadas a eventos medicamente relacionados, a partir de uma pluralidade de bases de dados; agrupar as informações coletadas associadas aos eventos medicamente relacionados em estruturas de dados de episódio de tratamento (eoc, de ?episode of care?) sendo que cada estrutura de dados de eoc contém as informações coletadas para um único eoc tratando uma condição médica ou fornecendo um procedimento médico a um único paciente; armazenar as estruturas de dados do eoc em um repositório de eoc (18); agrupar as estruturas de dados do eoc que tenham uma semelhança escolhida em ao menos uma coorte; e calcular ao menos um indicador-chave de desempenho (kpi) para as coortes. uma tela (2) é configurada para exibir os kpis para ao menos uma coorte selecionada.
