trata-se de um sistema para autorização de transações eletrônicas com a utilização de uma forma de um token físico que possui credenciais de um titular de conta, em que o sistema transmite uma mensagem de verificação a um terminal, sendo que esse terminal é diferente do terminal no qual a transação eletrônica é conduzida, e através dessa combinação, o sistema pode verificar que a transação está sendo conduzida pelo titular autorizado do token usado.
