Abstract

a presente invenção refere-se a um dispositivo (1) para monitorar a respiração de um usuário, o dito dispositivo compreendendo: - um suporte têxtil (2) com uma parte tubular (21) formada por tricotagem de um fio em grande parte aterrado isolado eletricamente, a parte tubular (21) sendo adequada para cobrir o peito do usuário; e - pelo menos um sensor de respiração (3, 4) formado por tricotagem de um fio de detecção (17), o fio de detecção (17) compreendendo um núcleo interno de material eletricamente isolante e uma bainha externa circundando o núcleo interno, a bainha externa sendo formada de material eletricamente condutor, em que o sensor de respiração (3, 4) forma uma tira condutora (31, 41), tendo uma primeira extremidade (311, 411) e uma segunda extremidade (312, 412), que são posicionadas a uma distância entre elas, as extremidades sendo adequadas para conexão a um aparelho, para medir a resistência elétrica da tira condutora (31, 41).
