Abstract
um sistema para rastreamento de um objeto em operações de furo de poço de petróleo e gás em que um objeto liberável que transporta um sistema de sinal primário é liberado dentro do sistema de tubo associado a um poço. o sistema de sinal primário se comunica com um ou mais sistemas de sinal secundários posicionados ao longo do trajeto do objeto; ao longo da superfície da formação; e/ou por todo o poço. o sistema de sinal primário e o sistema de sinal secundário podem se comunicar por sinais de rf. o sistema de sinal primário e quaisquer sistemas de sinal secundários posicionados na superfície se comunicam por meio de sinais de frequência através da terra ou de frequência muito baixa. um sistema de posicionamento global pode ser utilizado em conjunto com qualquer dos segundos sistemas de sinal na superfície para identificar a localização absoluta do objeto no poço subterrâneo. o sistema de sinal primário portado pelo objeto pode ser um sistema piezoelétrico disposto para transmitir um sinal quando o objeto experimenta uma pressão predeterminada.
