The present invention provides a method for genetic improvement of a transgenic soybean comprising: inserting an exogenous DNA fragment at positions 7,980,527 to 7,980,541 of chromosome 17 of the target soybean genome to obtain the transgenic soybean. The transgenic soybean of the present invention has a high dose tolerance of glyphosate and can be further enhanced by hybridizing with excellent soybean strain to optimize other agronomic traits such as yield, quality, etc. The detection method of the present invention can identify the attachment region of the inserted t-DNA and genome DNA of the plant and further identify whether plant tissues or products contain the ingredients of the transgenic soybean.
