é providenciada uma composição compreendendo como componente (a) pelo menos um inseticida; e como componente (b) pelo menos um fertilizante. a composição é eficaz no controle de nematoides e na promoção do crescimento de planta. o pelo menos um inseticida é selecionado de preferência dentre tiodicarbe, abamectina, imidacloprid, fipronil e suas misturas. o componente fertilizante compreende preferencialmente um ou mais aminoácidos e um ou mais micronutrientes. é também providenciado um método de controle de nematoides e/ou de promoção do crescimento de plantas, usando uma combinação do componente (a) e do componente (b).
