descreve-se uma montagem de proteção para uma junta de vedação de assento da válvula e um regulador de pressão. o conjunto de proteção compreende: um orifício de válvula (21) e um assento de válvula (22), em que o assento de válvula compreende uma junta de vedação (23); a junta de vedação (23) compreende uma região vulnerável localizada num lado de saída do orifício de válvula (21) e o conjunto de proteção compreende um anel de proteção (24) cobrindo parcialmente a região vulnerável da junta de vedação (23). o anel de proteção (24) cobre parcialmente a região vulnerável da junta de vedação (23), por conseguinte, sob uma condição de trabalho, com uma elevada diferença de pressão, o conjunto de proteção pode impedir que a junta de vedação (23) seja danificada por fluxo a longo prazo de um meio fluido de alta pressão, de modo a evitar uma falha do vedante interior.
