Abstract
MÉTODO E APARELHO PARA AUXILIAR TRÁFEGO DE REDE. É descrito um Equipamento de Usuário (UE) para comunicar com um eNB em uma rede LTE, o UE compreendendo: portadoras EPS, pelo menos uma das quais é configurada com um TFT, em que o TFT inclui um ou mais filtros de pacote; um transmissor para transmitir tráfego sobre a rede LTE para o eNB, em que o tráfego tem pacotes; e lógica para configurar o um ou mais filtros de pacote para transmissão de uplink com um indicador, em que o indicador identifica se os pacotes no tráfego são assistidos. É descrita uma Porta de Rede de Dados Pública (Public Data Network Gateway (PGW)) compreendendo: lógica para associar um filtro de pacote de um fluxo de tráfego de uplink a um filtro de pacote em um fluxo de tráfego de downlink; e lógica para rotular pacotes para tráfego de downlink como assistidos ou autônomos no fluxo de tráfego de downlink quando o filtro de pacote associado do fluxo de tráfego de uplink é identificado como assistido ou autônomo, respectivamente.METHOD AND APPARATUS TO ASSIST NETWORK TRAFFIC. A User Equipment (UE) for communicating with an eNB in an LTE network is described, the UE comprising: EPS bearers, at least one of which is configured with a TFT, the TFT including one or more packet filters; a transmitter for transmitting traffic over the LTE network to the eNB, the traffic having packets; and logic for configuring the one or more packet filters for uplink transmission with an indicator, where the indicator identifies whether packets in the traffic are watched. A Public Data Network Gateway (PGW) is described comprising: logic for associating a packet filter in an uplink traffic flow with a packet filter in a downlink traffic flow; and logic to label packets for downlink traffic as attended or unattended in the downlink traffic flow when the associated packet filter of the uplink traffic flow is identified as attended or unattended, respectively.
