Abstract
APERFEIÇOAMENTO TCP COM UTILIZAÇÃO DE CANAL LICENCIADO LIMITADA PARA REDES SEM FIO. Methods, systems and devices are described for operating a communications system using both licensed and unlicensed frequency bands. The unlicensed spectrum can be used as a primary band for transmitting data packets over the licensed spectrum. The selective transmission of a subset of data packets across the licensed spectrum can be based on a sender failing to receive and acknowledgment of receipt (ACK) message in response to one or more of the data packets transmitted in the unlicensed spectrum. Selective retransmission can be based on a transmitter that detects interference and/or it can be based on a receiver that reports information about channel conditions. In some cases, a transmitter may simultaneously receive channel condition information for both licensed and unlicensed spectrum. In other cases, unlicensed spectrum can be used for data packet transmission and licensed spectrum can be used for ACK messages.
